McCarthy Refrigeration Limited

McCarthy Refrigeration Limited was established in 1991, running for 20 successful years servicing the catering and retail industries. Around 2000 they began to specialise in The Health Services Industry, with key work carried out directly for the NHS at St. Mary's Hospital and St. James' Hospital, Portsmouth along with several private dental practices.

As the Super Hospital at the Queen Alexandra Site in Portsmouth was in development they were required to carry out extensive installation, maintenance and servicing, as well as decommissioning older plant and carry out F-Gas recovery. At present have a contract to carry out the Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Since 2017, McCarthy Refrigeration Limited has expanded to carry out major repair work at Southampton Hospital and consulted on repairs at Crawley Hospital. To date, they are in negotiation with various South-Coast Hospitals for similar maintenance packages for the near future.

All engineers are F-gas qualified. The team includes an Air Handling Unit CP Engineer and an accredited Energy Assessor.  We carry a current Waste Removal License
